Whether you are an entrepreneur or an established business looking to cut costs, these tools can work for you. Some popular examples of these AI powered content creation tools are ChatGPT and Dall-E. They are programs that, through ingesting massive amounts of data and interacting with users, are able to create original content in response to a prompt. The main ways they can help you and your business are through text and image output, and marketing.
Logos
If you aren’t very artsy and are struggling with envisioning your logo idea, use these tools to bring your idea to life. Dall-E, (a clever play on Salvador Dalí and WALL-E), allows you to input a detailed description of the image that you want, along with the style that you want it in, and it generates a multitude of images for you to choose from. Below is one of the images generated using Dall-E for the prompt, “cartoon logo of dog playing with bone”. It is perfect for a pet daycare, a dog toy store, or an animal hospital. You can always tweak your description to make the output more accurate. Other websites that help you create images are Midjourney and Craiyon.
Ideation and Blog Content
Blogs serve to build better relationship with your clients, increase website traffic, and document the growth of your business. With how big of a role they play for small businesses, having an assistant is imperative. Hypotenuse helps you come up with a catchy title for your blog, and based on the outline that you input, gives you a draft version of your blog post. The output is natural and well-researched. The program also functions across multiple languages, widening your reach.
What about when you’re stuck and don’t know what to write about? You know that engaging with your audience or customer base is key to retention, but what is relevant and important to your readers? Well, when I used the prompt “blogpost ideas for an entrepreneurship law blog”, these were some of the results from ChatGPT:
1. “The Importance of Incorporation for Startups: Pros and Cons”
2. “Protecting Your intellectual Property as a Entrepreneur”
3. “Negotiating and Drafting a Strong Contract for Your Business”
4. “Navigating Employment Law for Small Business Law Owners”
5. “Minimizing Legal Risk in Raising Capital for Your Startup”
The results are diverse and are sure to give you your own ideas on what you would like to write about. You can also use ChatGPT to write the blog for you. Always remember, if you don’t like something in the final output, edit it! I find that sometimes it is easier to edit than create. Another program that can help you with this is Jasper.
Advertising and Beyond
Data driven advertising and marketing are vital. Programs like Omneky use GPT-3 to create ads for their customers and use AI to get audience insights and demographics and determine receptiveness to these ads. Since AI is used to create these ad creatives, the time between understanding the consumer, creating the ad, and making new iterations based on receptiveness to the ad, is minimal. These ads can be shared across all of your digital platforms.
AdCreative.ai is another program that promises the creation of high-quality adverts – backed by AI obtained data - in mere seconds, that increase conversion and boost business.
Most content creation tools can also help you complete advertising-adjacent tasks such as drafting emails, creating social media captions, writing product descripts, and more. When you know the key words essential for your industry, you can use them for Search Engine Optimization (SEO), assisted by programs like Juice.ai. Tools such as Tome can even help you create a narrative presentation for your company that you can use at marketing or investor pitches.
Issues with these Tools
There are certainly downsides to the use of AI generated content for your business. The biggest one is that sometimes, the output is just wrong. For instance, in the output generated by ChatGPT above, it used an incorrect grammatical article before the word “Entrepreneur” in the second idea. It is an evolving area, and still requires human oversight. Publishing content that is not verified can be detrimental to your business.
For the AI to understand what its output is meant to look like, it is fed mass amounts of data. Artists are concerned that their images – some of them copyrighted – have been used to “train” AI, without their consent. This means that the AI is able to pick up their style and mimic it, and no copyright protection is afforded to style. This can hurt smaller artists and creators. Recently, Getty brought a suit against Stability AI – a popular AI art tool – for processing millions of its images without proper licensing.
Lastly, Google has traditionally penalized AI generated content, calling it “low quality”. This might impact your business’s online presence or visibility. While using Ai is incredibly fun, in using it for business purposes, it is best to move with caution and use it as a supplement to human generated content.

This is a great and timely article, considering the rise of AI and ChatGPT in particular. You did a great job demonstrating how to use the technology, by showing the audience how to create that dog and bone logo. I would love to learn more about Search Engine Optimization (SEO) and how the kind role AI can play there. I also agree with your conclusion that while the technology is great, we still need human oversight. Great work, overall! - Eric L.
Hey Nita,
This is an excellent topic, and I certainly learned many things about how these tools can help a business achieve its goals! AI, by all accounts, will certainly be revolutionizing many aspects of our daily lives, and this impact should certainly be taken under consideration by both existing businesses and entrepreneurs. I think your approach of not only discussing the various manners in which these tools can be utilized by a business but also providing detailed examples really helps illustrate the ways in which these tools can be beneficial to an entrepreneur. Hi Nitya!
I thought your blog post was really interesting! I had never thought about the way AI creation tools could work for a business. Although I was vaguely familiar with ChatGPT, I was unaware of Dall-E, which I think is a brilliant name for the program! I imagine that as people become more familiar with the benefits of AI, that businesses will fully begin to utilize all of the benefits that AI has to offer. I really liked how you mentioned the downfalls of using AI - it certainly has a long way to go. However, given how fast it is becoming so prevalent in our daily lives, I think that was a really insightful topic. Great job! -…
